Oni Ramen

For two people that grew up in Texas, we both consider Asian soups to be comfort food. Whether Pho, Tom Yum, Miso or Wonton, we will always say yes to a well made soup. After watching The Mind of a Chef, a Netflix documentary, where Chef David Chang takes on you a journey through his restaurant, Momofuku Noodle Bar. We were committed to finding ramen worthy of our taste buds near us, because traveling to Japanese or New York isn't on current agenda. Our first attempt was to visit Oni Ramen in the West 7th area of Fort Worth. Let's just say, we were very happy with our decision. In fact, we go back to Oni fairly often. It's one of our favorite Friday night dinner spots, especially on a cool evening.
