Andy's Frozen Custard
Here is our first "Dessert Only" post...and it involves Ice Cream. Imagine that...
Andy's opened in the fall of 2016 near Garrett's office. It is a frozen custard shop and is pretty much THE BEST. They have more than 25 options to mix into their custard.
This isn't a place where you go and try and get a "healthy" dessert. This place is all about decadence. Their small size is plenty big enough for one and sometimes for two.
A few recommendations, if you need some...
First off, you can't go wrong with the classic concrete with one of their mix-ins. One of our favorites is the vanilla custard with Reese's peanut butter cups. If you are feeling adventurous, try it with chocolate custard.
For one of their options on the menu, go with the Snowmaster Concrete - a blend of vanilla custard, strawberries, and melted chocolate chips. It is pretty much amazing.
They have seasonal options on the menu that you can try for limited times. Last fall, Garrett had their "Words can't describe it" Apple Pie Concrete. Unfortunately, it won't be back on the menu until October. But, he is looking forward to the Key Lime Pie Concrete that will be available in July.
Don't just take our word for how great this place is. Go try it this weekend! And for those of you who fear trekking to Grapevine.......there's more. Andy's on North Tarrant is currently being built! And the angels REJOICE!!
